Matthew Miller just announced that there is to be an election later this month for 3 positions in the Fedora Engineering Steering Committee (FESCo). FESCo is a fully community elected body and represents the technical leadership in Fedora. The nomination period starts tomorrow (July 2nd), with the election scheduled to be held from July 15th to the 22nd.
The 3 outgoing members of FESCo are:
- Bill Nottingham (notting) who was replaced in (temporarily) last month by Kyle McMartin.
- Toshio Kuratomi (toshio)
- Peter Jones (pjones)
The three successfully elected candidates from the election will join the remaining 6 FESCo members:
- Kevin Fenzi (nirik)
- Dennis Gilmore (dgilmore)
- Matthew Miller (mattdm)
- Tomáš Mráz (t8m)
- Miloslav Trmač (mitr)
- Stephen Gallagher (sgallagh)
