Are you looking to get involved with testing, or wanting to contribute to the stability of Fedora 21? If so, today is your lucky day! Come join us for the Fedora 21 Virtualization Test day! We’re testing some new features (a new chipset, image imports, OVMF/UEFI) and have people standing by to help or answer any questions you might have. It’s a great way to get started contributing to Fedora.
All you need in order to test is:
- Hardware Virtualization Support (Follow the instructions here if you’re not sure)
- 10-20 GB of free disk space (don’t worry, you can get it back after testing 🙂 )
- The virtualization packages (just run ‘yum groupinstall virtualization’)
More information on getting setup can be found on the Wiki. Join us on freenode in the #fedora-test-day channel if you need help getting set up.
Once you’re all set up, then head over to the Test Day app. Provide your username and hardware you’re using so we can track the results throughout the day. Pick a testcase (the links in the headers of each table) and follow the instructions. That’s all there is to it!
We look forward to seeing you!
