Last week a brave group of Fedora contributors climbed more than 3,400 meters to meet in the heart of the Peruvian Andes at FUDCon Cusco, facing the thin air and the cold.

There they found one of the most passionate group of volunteers, which organized a conference attended for more than 800 people, registering the biggest audience in almost 10 years of FUDCons.

During three days we had dozens of talks and workshops, and the local Ambassadors team also had various meetings to discuss the projects and next steps to promote Fedora Project in Latin America.

On behalf of Fedora Project, I’d like to thank Alex Solis and Cesar Villacorta for their tireless efforts to make Fudcon Cusco happen, and also to Jared Smith, Robyn Bergeron, Ruth Suehle, Dennis Gilmore, Alejandro Perez, Neville Cross and many other people which contributed to this memorable event!

¡Kausachun Fedora! (“Que viva el Fedora” in the Cusco Quechua language).
