For eight years, Fedora users and developers have gathered at an event named for them, the Fedora Users and Developers conference (FUDCon). But we’ve grown, and it’s time for a new approach: Flock.

Flock is a brand new conference where Fedora contributors can come together, discuss new ideas, work to make those ideas a reality, and continue to promote the core values of the Fedora community: Freedom, Friends, Features, and First.

Flock is a new Fedora conference that will be held August 9-12, 2013 in Charleston, SC. Join our email list to get updates as they happen.

Live Streaming / IRC

If you don’t make it, you can always watch the conference over live streaming. The streaming of the auditorium can be found here.

There are also many IRC channels created on freenode.net especially for Flock, so remote attendees can follow . If you’re using xchat / hexchat and just want to copy/paste the full list in a format xchat will take to allow you to auto-join. The IRC channels are here:

An event report will be posted on the Fedora Magazine after the conference as well.
