2015 Elections Retrospective by Fedora CommOps

The results are in! The Fedora Elections for the F23 release cycle of FESCo, FAmSCo, and the Council concluded on Tuesday, December 15th. The results are posted on the Fedora Voting Application and announced on the mailing lists. You can also find the full list of winning candidates below. Now that the recent Elections cycle is finished, the Fedora Community Operations team compiled an Elections Retrospective report of how the Elections went.

2015 Elections Retrospective Report

In short, voter turnout has improved in all races, and while no records have been broken, the numbers are back to our typical higher levels. The full report is in the Community Blog retrospective report.

FAmSCo, FESCo, and the Fedora Council

In the past Election cycle, seats for the Fedora Ambassador Steering Committee (FAmSCo), Fedora Engineering Steering Committee (FESCo), and the Fedora Council were voted on. Each group had its own notable trends and there were interested patterns that appeared when we analyzed the data generated by each election.
